Vast Vigil Consulting was founded to help small and medium businesses better understand and mitigate financial fraud risks through practical, data-driven approaches.
The consultancy was created by Vlad Andrei Stoianovici, who spent over 11 years working in the financial tech industry in fraud operations and analytics, including multiple roles at PayPal. During this time, he has worked alongside important actors such as banks, credit cards issuers, legal departments and law enforcement agencies to countless small and medium businesses prevent and mitigate financial fraud risks and improve their cyber security standards.
Through his career he trained analysts, designed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), set up quality evaluation standards, and created strategies for automation tools and real time monitoring.
